Fash & Jazz by LG งานดีดี ที่เกิดขึ้นจากความร่วมมือ ของบริษัท แอลจี อีเลคทรอนิคส์ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด คณะมัณฑณศิลป์ สาขาการออกแบบ เครื่องแต่งกาย มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร และคณะดุริยางค์ศิลปะ ศิลปากร
แนวความคิด ในการจัดงาน เพื่อที่จะต้องการสร้าง ปรากกการณ์ใหม่ ในการแสดงผลงาน นักศึกษา รุ่น 1 ที่จบการศึกษาของ ภาควิชา ออกแบบเครื่องแต่งกาย หรือ แฟชั่นดีไซน์ ระดับปริญญาตรี (หลักสูตรต่อเนื่อง) มหาวิทยาลัย ศิลปากร วิทยาเขต วังท่าพระ
โดยทั่วไป งานแสดงผลงานศิลปะนิพนธ์ ของนักศึกษา จะเป็นอะไรที่คนส่วนใหญ่จะมองดู ไม่มีสีสันมากมาย แต่วัตถุประสงค์งาน Fash & Jazz by LG ต้องการพลักดัน ให้ดีไซเนอร์หน้าใหม่ ได้มีเวทีในการแสดงผลงาน ผ่านสถานที่ที่เป็นศูนย์รวมลูกค้าที่สนใจในแฟชั่น จึงเลือกจัดที่ Siam Center ซึ่งก็ได้รับความร่วมมือ ในการให้พื้นที่ที่ ลานเอนกประสงค์1 พื้นที่ 100ตารางเมตร และช่องทางสื่อประชาสัมพันธ์ที่เป็นสากล
รวมทั้ง ภาคเอกชนที่ให้การสนับสนุน ด้านการออกแบบ แฟชั่นดีไซน์หลักๆในครั้งนี้ ก็เป็นทาง LG ให้การสนับสนุนเป็น Title Sponsor ในการจัดงาน Fash & Jazz by LG ที่ Siam Center ในระหว่างวันที่ 11-13 สิงหาคม 2550 ซึ่งมีนางแบบที่มีชื่อเสียง รวมกว่า 20ชีวิต เข้ามาสร้างสีสัน
สำหรับเหตุผลที่ LG ให้การสนับสนุนงาน เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียน นักศึกษาได้แสดงผลงาน และให้ประชาชนทั่วไป มาร่วมกันมีประสบการณ์ดีๆ กันในเทศกาลวันแม่ ให้สอดคล้องกับ Concept ของแอลจี ในปีนี้คือ Experience lifes good with LG แล้วยังต้องการตอกย้ำ การเป็นผู้นำสินค้าอีเลคทรอนิคส์ที่ ไฮเทค มีดีไซน์ และไลฟ์สไตล์ที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ ของ LG ดูได้จากสินค้าในปัจจุบัน ไม่ว่าจะเป็น โทรศัพท์มือถือ LG Prada, LG Shine, LG Time machine TV ทีวีบันทึกได้ รุ่นแรกของโลก, LG Chocolate Sound หรือ ตู้เย็น Swarovski ในงานนี้ ก็มีการนำสินค้า ที่มีดีไซน์ เอกลักษณ์เข้ามาจัดแสดง และใช้ประกอบภายในงานด้วย
