12th Saha Group Export & Trade Exhibition

Message from the Chairman of the Organizing Committee

During the year of 1997 Asean financial crisis, Saha Group had to rethink its positioning. as it found that the group was not particularly visible to the public and foreign counterparts.

So the 1st  Saha Group Export and Trade Exhibition in November 1997 was established with the purpose of presenting itself to the public and overseas counterparts highlighting the following points.

          1)  The group has been established in Thailand for over six decades.
          2)  The group plays a major role in the consumer product business in Thailand.
          3)  The group has a number of joint venture companies and still welcomes more joint venture partnerships. 
          4)  The group focuses on manufacturing and distributing in Thailand.
          5)  The group produces a number of products of international standard and in capable of manufacturing products with high quality.
          6)  The group is interested to export more of its products and brands worldwide.
          7)  The group is committed to improve quality, efficiency and technology.
          8)  The group has a vision to present itself in foreign countries.

More recently, with all the environmental issues which become increasingly apparent, it should be noted that Saha Group has been paying attention to the environment for more than two decades.

Hence, during 2008 will be marked with the campaign “Cool the world” which will involve improving energy consumption, the use of alternative, non-fossil, and renewable energy, as well as reduction of waste from disposable packaging, and loss in production. By the same token, we shall launch various corporate social responsibility programs, such as promoting, the use of bicycles, tricycles, and support the construction of  bike routes, etc.

The above mentioned will be presented at the innovation corner at the exhibition, together with other innovative products which Saha Group has to offer

Saha Group was established in 1942 by Dr.Thiam Chokwatana to distribute both nationally and internationally over 30,000 consumer products produced from factories in three Saha Group Industrial Parks , firstly in Sriracha (Chonburi Province) , secondly in Kabinburi (Prachinburi Province) and in Lampoon (Lampoon Province). Covering over 6,000 rai (2,400 acres), the three estates have complete infrastructure , and operate to international standard environmental management systems that support the production of quality products, and enable SMEs to locate efficiently in the Parks.

Today , under the management of Dr.Boonsithi Chokwatana , Saha Group is experiencing great success from continuous growth. The Group has also won the reputation as one of the most successful local distributors with its effective logistics system, wide distribution networks, and efficient handling services that suit every need of its customers. During the past years, besides producing goods for our original brands like BSC, St.Andrews, MAMA, PAN, Rain Flower, Saha Group was entrusted by brand owners to produce and distribute many world-renowned brand-name products including Lacoste, Arrow, Elle, Guy Laroche, Wacoal, Itokin, Mizuno, Naturalizer, Pias and many more. Throughout its more than fifty years in business , the Group has gained experience and developed its production process until the present day, whereby over 30,000 products and services in twelve categories supplied from over 200 affiliated companies.
